Area Updates

Hello brothers and sisters,

I know at least half, if not most of our membership in our area don't have or don't use social media (i.e. facebook, instagram, etc..).. where we post almost instantly current activities in our community. And that is okay, just doing things old school.

So allow me to share to you once again some major developments that we have very recently in our area.. through this email.

LIVE LIFE & LIVE PURE MOVEMENT
At least another half of us were not able to attend the LCSC Pillars training we had over the weekend. As previously announced, we had 2 Full-time Workers from the Philippines who are going all over the United States right now presenting and promoting LIVE LIFE & LIVE PURE Movement.

Needless to say, their presentations as expected, were very current, relevant and very exciting. Hence, we immediately talked to some of the parishes here and offered specifically Live Pure to be given to the Youth of their Churches. Here's what transpired:

St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Morton Grove
We presented to head pastor Fr. Mario and Fr. Carlos. They were very excited and affirmed they could definitely use this program. They are just adjusting as the new pastor and new associate pastor of this parish. They said they will call me really soon.

St. Stephens Catholic Church in Des Plaines
We spoke with head pastor Fr. Noel and Fr. Ronald. They totally embraced our Live Pure program. We will conduct the different Live Pure Forums to their confirmandis on Oct. 15, 22, and 29. Probably this will be the first Parish in the USA to utilize our Live Pure Movement.

St. Catherine Laboure in Glenview
We spoke with head pastor Fr. Maina, though he had initial concerns with the two different existing CFCs, he was also excited to have Live Pure given to his Parish Youth Camp on January 2017.

St. Francis of Assisi in Bolingbrook
Through bRuben and bLu Coson, head pastor Fr Herb agrees also to have our Live Pure given to the Youth of their Parish.

St. Lambert Parish in Skokie
Though head pastor Fr. Simon wasn't really very excited yet when I spoke to him at Church about Live Pure when I presented to him (he only gave me 3minutes to explain).. but when some of his Youth leaders attended the Live Pure presentation of Ina in Bolingbrook, they were very excited and said they will personally convince their Parish Youth leader to have it given in their parish. I'm pretty sure this time we will now have a thorough Live Pure presentation also with Fr. Simon.

We are also currently setting appointments to different Catholic Schools and offer these Live Pure Forums to their confirmandis.

Brothers and sisters, truly the Spirit is moving with us so please schedule an appointment to your own parishes and let us know. We are very excited to present our Live Pure Movement to them.

Also, very important, on a different note, our Area bank account was hacked a few days ago, someone stole some $5000 from our account and we haven't fully paid yet our final bill for the SFL Conference. But God is good we got back every single dollar of it yesterday. Hence, we have now a new bank account number. So for those of you depositing your tithes directly to our old account number, it has been closed already. We have a new bank account number now. So please call our Area Treasurer bFerdie (630-981-7558) as soon as possible to get the correct account number to deposit to.

By the way, we also have a special visitor from the Philippines who will give a teaching to our Handmaids this Saturday at St. Lambert Parish in Skokie from 1:00 to 6:00pm. She is sMenchie Donato. She is also a full-time pastoral worker from the Philippines serving the HFLs. She just came from Europe.

Please save the date also for our Regional Echo Conference on October 8th. Our SG bro Frank Padilla and our Country Servant bro Ed Yamba will be here to give the talks. Details will follow.

And lastly, we will have the CFCFFL Annual Top Servants Gathering on October 28 to 30here in Chicago. Details will also to follow. We will be needing your support and service once again on this 3day semi-conference.

God bless you all.

Area Teaching

Area Teaching for the Month of August

Hello brothers & sisters,

First, a big congratulations to our area for a very successful SFL/CBFL Conference. Truly when everybody come together, there is no task too big. Praise God once again for the privilege and the joy of service.

I know true servants need no recognition, but we just want to honor brothers and sisters who did things more than they were called to do and really went the extra mile. We will have this during our Victory gathering. Date and venue are still to be determined.

In the meantime, we will have our Monthly Area Teaching for the month of August. Please save the date and attend this joint assembly on:

Sunday, August 7, 2016
St. Francis of Assisi Parish
Bolingbrook
We will gather at 3:00pm and end by 7:30 or 8:00pm

This is once again open to all ministries. We will have 2 specials guests from the Philippines. Full time pastoral workers (FTPW) Xavy Xavier Padilla  and Ina Sabrina Gasgonia will talk about Live Life & Live Pure.

Brethren, let's equip ourselves, take advantage and learn more of these 2 pillars of our LCSC. Personally, after hearing these training talks myself last weekend at the LIFT meeting in Houston, for me these are two big ways to get inside our own parishes and could eventually make the Parish Priest and its Parish Council agree into having an LCSC in their church. So this is crucial brothers and sisters. I truly believe we have so much to offer. That is why I urge everyone to please attend and be inspired.

See you then!!

God bless!!

Country Servant Pastoral Visit

Hello everyone,

Happy 1st day of summer! Hope everyone is enjoying the weather.

I would like to thank everybody for a very successful Area Picnic we just had over the weekend. The Camaraderie, Music, Games, Food and all the Fun & Laughter were truly a treat. Just like what I mentioned there, Community Fellowship is crucial in our growth and service. In fact it is really one of the "spokes" on how to Grow in the Holy Spirit (per CLS Talk#8).

Anyway, as we embark on the second half of the year, we would like to start out our service once again on the right track. Our Country Servant bro Ed Yamba will have his Pastoral Visit in our Area come July 2nd (two Saturdays from now). He wants to have a full-day with us to touch-base on the progress of the New Evangelization, updates on the LCSC and LIFT Training Weekend in Houston, our upcoming Conferences, introduce the "S.E.L.F." series of talks and just an overall presentation of our Community's direction. After the talks, we will have an open forum and Q & A with him.

I would like to request everyone to please NOT hold any household meeting on this week of July 2. Instead this will be our assembly & teaching week. Reserve this date brothers and sisters, and please SHOW-UP and SUPPORT as we gather to praise and worship and listen to the teachings and exhortations from our Top Servant-Leader here in the USA.
