WER/HER 3

Yes, we praise and thank the Lord for the wonderful weekend that He has blessed us again with to experience, the Spirit filled CFCFFL Echo Conference that we had. And in behalf of my HFL sisters, we thank you CFC brothers and sisters, for giving us again the opportunity to serve the Lord through our community.

I personally thank my beloved HFL sisters for coming, service team and participants, I believe that we made the Lord and Mama Mary happy even for this simple thing that we did this weekend. But the work is still big, let us continue to walk in that path. This message is also another calling for everyone to come, service team and participants, for our WER/HER3 on November 14, Saturday at St Isidore Hall, 431 W Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale IL 60108. This is from 8am to 7pm, with breakfast, lunch and dinner wih the fee of $30. Last Saturday, Bro Manny thanked and praised the HFL in almost everything that we do. I believe that we were blessed by the Lord and developed our love and closeness with each other through all of our activities together like the WER. I honor everyone for saying yes every time we call to serve and to come even though you've been on the same activity for so many times, but I believe that the Lord keeps on giving us new message everytime we come.

We are also inviting and encouraging the sister wives who attended our WER 1&2 to come and experience the 3. The message of the Enrichment Retreat one and two is the calling of personal holiness by deepening relationship with God and others. The message of the 3 is about our response to that calling by "Bringing Glad Tidings to the Poor", as response to our Church Great Jobillee on year 2000, which is actually connected to the Community's theme this year "Look to Jesus, Look to the Poor". In fact the message of this retreat is not only for women, it's just happen that the manual is from HFL's Pastoral formation office, but this teaching is for all. So BROTHERS are actually welcome to listen, especially leaders grin emoticon.

Please register as early as possible, to me, to Sally Manuel, Irene Puno, Amy Albertine or simply reply to this message. We need to plan the activity according to the number of attendees, service team and oarticipants. Thank you and may God bless us all in everything we do for the glory of His Name.

(Bro Rene, pls email to the community. Thanks much.)  LUCY SANTOS

Today is Day 4 of the closing of Family Planning Associates (across from the 40 Days For Life Site) in Chicago.

Praise be to God!   Alleluia!

This is the greatest news we have received in the many years that we have stood in front of the Albany Family Planning Clinic and prayed for its closure.  Your prayers and sacrifices have borne fruit!!

In thanksgiving and praise to our God, please come on Nov 1st, at 7:00pm and join the closing of the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil in front of the Divine Mercy Image at the Kananaya Center (parking lot) to celebrate this miracle.  Our very own CFCFFL Music Ministry will assist at the Mass to be celebrated by Bishop Alberto Rojas.

"For the sake of His sorrowful passion, Have mercy on us and on the whole world"

Thank you Lord!!

See you all on Nov 1st!  God bless.

Prayer for CHARLES JOFFE, (grandfather of bPatrick/sKaren Cusac -CFC-FFL Chicago)

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26)

LET US PRAY: Holy
Lord, Almighty and Eternal God, hear our prayers for CHARLES JOFFE, (grandfather of bPatrick/sKaren Cusac -CFC-FFL Chicago) whom you have
summoned out of this world.  Forgive his
sins and failings and grant him a place of refreshment, light, and peace.  Let him pass unharmed through the gates of
death to dwell with the blessed in light, as you promised to Abraham and his children forever.  Accept our beloved CHARLES JOFFE into your safekeeping and on the great Day of Judgment, raise him up with all the saints to inherit your eternal kingdom.  We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen”

"Eternal rest grant unto the soul of CHARLES JOFFE, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.  May he rest in peace, Amen."

"Father, we also pray for comfort and guidance for her bereaved family, most especially his grandson/granddaughter, Patrick/Karen Cusac, at their loss and sorrow.  Be their refuge and their strength, O Lord and lift them up from the depths of grief into the peace and light of your presence.  In Jesus, Mighty Name we pray, Amen."

Bro Rene, please ask the community to pray for my grandpa, Charles Joffe who passed away

this morning. Thanks..bPatrick Cusac

Prayers for Melanie Magday

“I am the LORD, your God, who grasp your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I will help you.” (Isaias 41 : 13)

Let us pray:  "God Almighty Father, we entrust unto Your healing hands, MELANIE MAGDAY, 27 years old and niece of sOlive Laurel (CFC-HFL West Suburbs), who was found unconscious last Thursday, she is in coma and confined to Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, that in Your infinite love and divine mercy, may grant her the healing grace that she needs now. Lord, touch her in a very special way from the top of her head to the sole of her feet, outpouring Your healing power to the different cells, tissues and organs of her body, and let the power stays there until the healing is completed and she is back to her normal healthy life.  We also pray for all the members of her family at this very difficult time in their lives.  IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME, WE PRAY.  AMEN."

“A leper came to him and kneeling down begged him and said, “If you wish, you can make me clean.”  Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.” The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean. (Mk 1 : 40-42)
