Praise God for a very successful MER!!

You just know it is going to be a blessed retreat when you see God's handprint all over it right from the start. From the venue, to the attendees, to the service team, the sessions and just the total experience we couples have shared over there this past weekend.

We also had 3couples (former SFCs) who attended that we can put on a CFCFFL household already.

Thank you all for your prayers. Thank you households from the West Suburbs, and Chicago Chapter for donating food and just helping out on whatever was needed. Thank you also HFL as always.

Special shoutout to Pogika bRene Garcia, Mark & Mabelle Galleza for their all-out service & support from the very beginning to the very end of the retreat.

Til the next back-to-back MER1 & MER2 again next year!!

MER1 / MER2 Information - Please READ!!!

Hello brothers and sisters, MER1 & MER2 participants,

The love and peace of the Lord be with us all!

Exactly one week from now, May 21st to 22ndis our MER or Marriage Enrichment Retreat already. We are all excited and thankful for the great response we received from our community. We even have brothers and sisters coming in to join us from Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.

We would like to give you all participants a heads-up on more or less what's going to transpire next weekend and also some of the things we need for you to bring or submit that is needed in our retreat.

First, for those out-of-state brothers that will arrive early and check-in on Friday night, May 20th, we have arranged with Techny already and all you have to do is get your room key from the Security Guard upon arrival. Just use the phone by the entrance to contact them so they can open the door and lead you to your reserved room.

For all of us arriving Saturday, May 21st, their doors will officially open at 8:00am. Please proceed to the 4th floor and proceed to Room 403. There you will register, set your belongings aside and have coffee/tea and bagel/donuts. Check-in will be after lunch.

Things to bring / submit:

1. CFCFFL ID (if you're new, we will give you one)

2. Bible & Rosary

3. Pen & Paper

4. Please email us ASAP (at barberr2@gmail.com) 2 or 3 of your Wedding pictures.

If you don't have a digital copy, just bring the pictures, we will scan it.

5. Email or text us ASAP also (847.219.5412) the title of your couple Theme song.

6. Email ASAP also your favorite couple or family Bible verse.. (if you filled this up on the Registration form, then you are ok)

7. Semi-formal attire for our Saturday Fellowship Night.

8. White Dress for sisters and White Polo with Tie (any color) for brothers for Sunday's Mass and Renewal of Vows.

9. Prayers for all of us to be touched and inspired by the Holy Spirit.

10. And of course your Hearts and sincerity to enrich our Marriages.

We will culminate after our 1pm Lunch on Sunday. So out-of-towners,
 hopefully you will be home dinner time :).
